Swanson of University of Kansas
Elected to NAEP Board of Directors
March 24 —The National
Association of Educational Procurement (NAEP) announced the election of Barry
Swanson to their Board of Directors, effective March 24, 2010. Mr. Swanson will
serve as Board Member for District V, representing NAEP Regional Groups in
twelve U.S. states and in Canada. Mr.
Swanson is the Director of Purchasing and Strategic Sourcing at the University
of Kansas. NAEP is the national
association representing the procurement profession. Its membership is
restricted to purchasing staff in colleges, research institutions, hospitals,
and K-12 schools.
